Mind Body Connection
Many people do not realize the importance of the mind body connection. Emotions can affect our health and health can affect our emotions
A study at John Hopkins has shown that serious depression can cause irregularities in the nervous system and if severe enough will affect heart rate, blood pressure, and artery function. The hopelessness, frustration and dissatisfaction that comprise depression can make you feel bad physically.
We are taught to go to our medical doctor that if we have illness, disease or physical pain or physical limitations. In our society, we do not teach or encourage ourselves to take care of our emotional health. Our emotional health is just as important as our physical health. Our mental health affects our thoughts, emotions and reactions in all that we do.
When life gives us obstacles that interfere with our daily lives take the first step in getting help and call us.
We are here for YOU.
